Youth Programs

This free mentorship program brings together young IBPOC students ages 14-18 with professional IBPOC artists working in various areas within theatre.

"RISE UP is creating a space for the long-term intergenerational work needed to see the social changes we want in the theatre ecology. Nourishing young IBPOC students' artistic hearts in a safer, deliberately anti-racist space, is a part of this important industry transformation."
- Makram Ayache, Program Coordinator

Participants meet virtually once a month from November 2023 to May 2024, alternating between workshops and one-on-one mentorship sessions. The program begins and ends with in-person retreats which include performances and active workshops.

Participants are paid a fee of $250 at the end of the program. They are also provided free education and mentorship in addition to having all travel, meal and ticket costs covered for the retreat days.

Space is limited. Apply today!
